V-Europe is mandated by the the Belgian Federal Public Service of Justice for your registration and assistance.
As an officially recognized organization, we work in close partnership with multiple government agencies.
...provides support to all victims of terrorist acts that occur within the EU, as well as European victims of terrorist attacks abroad. While historically V-Europe has primarily focused on supporting victims of terrorist attacks in Belgium and Belgian victims of attacks overseas, its scope now extends to all EU victims.
V-Europe is an International organization registred and recognized by the Belgian authorities to support Victims of Terrorism. It provides personalized emotional, administrative and legal assistance through its coordinator program, established in collaboration with the Belgian Federal Ministry of Justice.
V-Europe werkt actief samen met Europese instellingen, waaronder de Directoraat-Generaal Justitie van de Europese Commissie, en met maatschappelijke organisaties om slachtoffers van terrorisme te ondersteunen en hun belangen te behartigen. Daarnaast heeft V-Europe een productieve samenwerking met het Directoraat-Generaal Binnenlandse Zaken van de Europese Commissie, waarbij de organisatie bijdraagt aan de ontwikkeling en implementatie van beleid ter preventie en bestrijding van gewelddadig extremisme en terrorisme.
Het werk van V-Europe is erkend in de VN-gids voor organisaties die slachtoffers van terrorisme ondersteunen. De organisatie werkt samen met internationale entiteiten, bevordert kennisuitwisseling en versterkt de positie van slachtoffers.
Sinds 2016 biedt V-Europe kosteloze en vrijblijvende ondersteuning aan alle erkende slachtoffers van terrorisme, met prioriteit voor de slachtoffers binnen België en in het buitenland.
